Inspired by a portico construction and arthropod animals, this piece remains an element of multiple perceptions. In spite of its functional dimension, its formalism recalls a graceful sculpture. Combining contradictions wills, SA Chair is a witness of formalism crashing with chaos. With her design, Silka Barrio aimed to create infinity of doors, which evoke a maze. [via]
