The Borealis lamp-shade, designed by Liam Hopkins & Ricard Sweeney, is part of a series of lights, which were the result of experiments with computer design and CNC manufacture. Each Borealis lampshade comprises machine cut components, which are assembled and finished by hand in the Lazerian studio.
