Designed by Viable London, manufactured by Decode London. Using an array of metal wire, the Wire Light creates a silhouetted enclosure around a bulb, diffusing, but not blocking its light. By angling the repeated parts inwards, greater wire-density is achieved and produces the illusion of twisting.
The Wire Light uses a deceptively simple array of wire loops to create the illusion of a twisted inner core. These loops create two concentric layers; the inner and hence denser layer interrupts and softens the light emanating from the bulb, while the outer layer defines the overall form of the light
