Eco Friendly and Sustainable Contemporary Wooden Radio

Special things take their time. The wooden radio from Magno is such a special thing. It takes 16 hours from the time of the first customization until the cautious wrapping of the radio in wrappingpaper.

It’s retro looking, two tones of wood, and made by hand by carpenters in an Indonesian village. The designer Singgih Kartono wants to “redefine the relationship of the user between the product” and revitalize craft industries and local skills, while using local sustainable materials.
