Contemporary Interior Furniture Design B Line Splash Stools

Counting down towards the opening of the Milan “Salone Internazionale del Mobile” exibitionn, B-Line, a young company from Italy, inform us about its three new furniture design products : Quby, Splash and Lin.

Quby, designed by Stefan Bench, is an incredible and versatile bookcase module made in rotomoulded polyethylene. The shape is really original and they use catchy colours, that it seems to smell spring…Quby can be hung on the wall, rest on the floor or combined and re-combined at will, this is why I’m underlying that it’s really versatile.

The same could be said about Splash, with a watchful eye this stool will remind about your childhood, not only for the colours, but also because it seems like the King’s crown, although Kristian Aus, the designer, was inspired by a raindrop touching ground. Splash is a stool, but upside down it can also be used as a capacious container, maybe as wine cooler? Only an astonishing suggestion…why not?

The last new product revealed by B-Line is Fin, designed by Neuland Industriedesign, an uncommon modular shelf in painted steel that permits to display books in a funny and floating way, really nice!

It is the first time that books create the bookcase, while the support is hidden.

Remember, all these products will be exhibited at the “Salone Internazionale del Mobile” in Milan from the 14th to the 19th of April 2010, where at B-Line stand will be hosted the 2010 new entries. Be there, see the new collection of 2010 interior furniture design products!
